Subject: Complaint Against Shristi Jhawar for Unprofessional Conduct

Respected Administration.,

I would like to file a formal complaint against Shristi Jhawar (ID: 337529) regarding repeated unprofessional behavior and inappropriate communication in the general chat

On 15/5 Shristi Jhawar addressed a citizen using the term "bro" in general chat. As part of our department’s standards and professional expectations, staff are advised to avoid using casual terms like “bro,” “buddy,” “dude” especially when addressing citizens. Instead, proper terms such as “sir” or “ma’am” should be used to reflect professionalism and maintain the dignity of our roles..

I had already reminded another department member about this exact issue earlier. My message was

> Me: SNDP don't call or invite like bro, buddy, dude like this. Call them sir / ma'am. It seems unprofessional."
(in general-chat)

Later, when I noticed Shristi using the same informal tone, I gave her a similar reminder:

> Me: "COS | Shristi Jhawar | 337529, please don't make conversation like this, I already mentioned."
(in general-chat)

Instead of acknowledging this reminder professionally, Shristi responded with unrelated and dismissive statements. The following is a summary of the chat that followed

Shristi Jhawar: What's wrong in this? At least he should know the truth.....

Me: What do you mean by truth?

Shristi Jhawar: You don't know

Me: Can you explain?

Shristi Jhawar: What to explain?

Me: About the truth?

Shristi Jhawar: Be active in HC chat, you'll know

Me: What is this behaviour?

Shristi Jhawar: Which behaviour?

Me: This is your response to a deputy?

Shristi Jhawar: I just said be active in HC chat. What's wrong in this? Bro, Chief already told me that we can't give him HC rank, need to start again. And it's in the HC chat only. If you are active then you'll know. That's what I meant.

Me: What I asked and what you said?

Shristi Jhawar: I haven't put allegation on you that you are not active

Me: Alright. I asked about why you called the citizen 'bro' in general chat?

Later, Shristi attempted to deflect responsibility by stating:

> Shristi Jhawar: "Chief and deputy also said bro in general chat. You didn't ask them?"
" kavitamil check this."
And he send some Link from genaral chat for bose and ivan said bro in general chat to citizens

Me: "Are you chief?"
(Note: I didn’t mean a Chief can do anything. I meant that a Chief knows how to speak with citizens in public settings.)
After that, she stopped replying.

Additional Escalation:
Shristi later tagged the Curator and said:

> "Curator, he is making conflict again and again, please solve his problem
I already made a complaint against him but didn't get any response
I rest my case on you, I'm not gonna say a single word because I'm pretty sure they will use it against me
I have trust in you."

I replied calmly:

> Me: "Don't angry just understand what I try to say buddy"
She responded:
Shristi: "I'm not your buddy, bro, brother"

At that point, I replied:

> Me: "Alright. From now, you are not in org. You can leave."

Clarification:
I acknowledge that my statement "Alright. From now, you are not in org. You can leave." may have come across as harsh. It was said in a moment of frustration and was not meant as an official action to remove her from the organization. I understand that only the proper authority has the right to make such decisions. I regret saying it and will be more mindful in the future. I am committed to upholding respectful and procedural communication.

Summary of Issues:

1. 1. Repeated Unprofessional Communication Use of informal language ("bro") in general chat even after reminding were previously given to other staff.

2. Disrespectful and Evasive Attitude
Avoiding direct answers and using sarcasm when given a simple and respectful reminder

3. Failure to Respect Chain of Command
Ignoring a Deputy’s warning and undermining the leadership hierarchy

4. Deflection and Irrelevant Justifications
Instead of taking responsibility, comparing actions to other members and making excuses

5. Avoiding Communication
Once she could no longer justify her behavior, she stopped responding

Conclusion:
This behavior is not suitable for someone in a responsible position.. It creates confusion, disrupts unity and weakens morale among staff. I respectfully request the Administration to look into this matter, offer necessary guidance to the concerned staff and reinforce communication standards to maintain professionalism

Thank you for your attention to this matter..

Sincerely,
Kavi Tamil
