Additional information

1. Leader for...
Police department

2. Why do you want to be the Leader of this specific organization? (Give three reasons with explanation)

1.After serving six terms in the FBI—four of those in high command and once as deputy—I have devoted the majority of my professional life to the pursuit of justice, national security, and public protection. My decision to lead the police department is a natural extension of this commitment. I view local policing not just as a continuation of my service, but as an opportunity to bring my experience closer to the everyday lives of citizens, where real change and community impact begin.

2. My time in federal law enforcement have equipped me with critical leadership skills, strategic oversight experience, and a deep understanding of both criminal intelligence and inter-agency coordination. These competencies are directly transferable to a city police department. I have managed large teams, led high-stakes investigations, and coordinated cross-jurisdictional efforts—all of which mirror the complexities of managing law enforcement. I am confident that this experience can bring structure, innovation, and accountability to the department.

3.Now that I have the chance to engage with the city on a more personal level, I am motivated to foster stronger ties between law enforcement and the communities we serve. Leading the police department provides a platform to implement progressive, community-oriented policing strategies, enhance transparency, and rebuild trust where needed. It’s about translating high-level policy into meaningful, on-the-ground results for citizens and I am eager to be that bridge between institutional excellence and grassroots service.

3. Your advice for improving Role Play in the organization.

Roleplay in an organisation should be a part of an ongoing training culture, not a one-time activity. Updating scenarios regularly to reflect new challenges, operational changes, and emerging threats. Consistency ensures that skills stay sharp and relevant in the organisation.

Roleplay in an organisation only works when participants feel psychologically safe. It’s important to create a space where individuals can make mistakes, ask questions, and receive feedback without judgment. This encourages honest participation and builds confidence.
