Subject: Concern Regarding Communication with COS Shristi Jhawar
Dear Administration,
I am writing to express a concern regarding an interaction that took place on 14/05/2025 involving COS Shristi Jhawar (ID: 337529)..
The situation occurred when COS Shristi instructed staff member "ItsCrazy Crazy" to cover the hospital lobby. This request was made shortly after she had directed both me and Sharpay to proceed to Labs, stating that she would handle the lobby. Whenn Crazy later indicated having an OOC emergency (10-33) and needing to leave (10-2), the instruction to fill the pager and cover the lobby had already been given once by COS Shristi. ..Though the request was only made once it came prior to Crazy’s clear mention of their OOC issue, which led to some confusion and discomfort among the team
I attempted to clarify that we as staff members must prioritize real life commitments and that no one should feel obligated to continue duties if they have an IRL emergency. However, the response I received from COS Shristi was defensive. She asked for proof and implied the matter should be dismissed in the absence of evidence, even though she acknowledged having made the initial request.
To be clear, I am not accusing COS Shristi of wrongdoing or making any formal allegation. My intention is simply to raise awareness of how such situations can be misinterpreted or escalate if not handled with understanding. Communication, especially in stressful or unclear moments, plays a critical role in maintaining a respectful work environment..
Given this and prior concerns raised about management style I believe it would be beneficial for the administration to look into how such situations can be handled more constructively in the future. This will help ensure that all staff, regardless of rank, feel heard and supported
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Deputy | Kavitamil RP | 37758
