I, Jack Huncho from Indonesia , recently retired from the RP Grand government after serving as the Chief Minister in this current term. I have had the privilege of working under various governors in the past, including those led by Izhan, Anuj (interim), Leo OK, kaushik (interim) . In those previous terms, the government RP was structured, disciplined, and followed a realistic approach. The leaders and members of the government demonstrated strong RP ethics, maintained a clear chain of command, and upheld the rules and responsibilities expected from their roles.
Unfortunately, the current term stands in stark contrast. I am deeply concerned and disappointed with the mismanagement and the complete breakdown of RP standards within the present government. The governor, deputy governors, and most high command members have continuously violated established RP protocols. There is no functioning chain of command, no accountability, and no understanding among members about their responsibilities. The roleplay performance is extremely poor, and it appears that most of the members involved lack even the basic knowledge of government RP.
When I tried to address these issues IC, I was made to feel like an obstacle rather than a contributor. My efforts to guide inexperienced members were often overruled by higher-ups, who, instead of encouraging learning, justified the incorrect actions of underperforming individuals. This not only discouraged me but also reflected a deep-rooted problem in the leadership structure.
To make matters worse, I have observed that many government employees use foreign languages in official government channels during this term. This behavior is highly unprofessional and was never faces in previous terms. Such actions only further break immersion and degrade the quality of RP. I am completely sick of witnessing these repetitive violations of basic RP norms.
I am not writing this out of frustration alone, but out of genuine concern. I have served in government for a long time and remained deeply connected with its RP culture. Government RP has always been something I cared about and worked hard to maintain. I simply cannot stay calm and watch the destruction of what we built over time in RP Grand. It is painful to witness this collapse from the inside.
Comparing with past governors, even the Leo OK term, which also faced challenges, managed to stay functional due to Leo’s intelligence and leadership. This term, however, lacks such leadership and is full of non-serious, toxic players. There hasn’t even been a single proper court hearing during this entire term — a testament to the collapse of the justice and legal RP system. The government rules remain written on paper but are not implemented or followed in practice.
The environment has become so toxic and disorganized that I regret not retiring earlier. I feel ashamed to have been associated with this term. The government RP in RP Grand is on the verge of collapse, and unless immediate steps are taken, I fear that the reputation and high-standard RP we once had may never return.
I invite the chief administrator and senior administrator to review the government IC chats and all related channels to observe the ongoing non-RP activities. Immediate intervention is necessary to restore order, respect, and professionalism within the government structure.
